Pre-school Guidelines According to William Glasser, though dynamic team relationships are being heavily promoted in the business sector today, schools have fallen behind. Today’s classroom behavior is dictated by school administration policy, and therefore, classes have the same structure where teachers dictate policy and students “adopt obedient sheep-like behaviors in order to be ‘successful.’” (Nordgren, 2002, 318). This was expressed differently thirty years ago. According to Kuonin and Gump (1974), each classroom has a distinctive dynamic, and this dynamic pulls each participant along like an invisible force. Both observations are correct, making it clear how important it is for each teacher to establish a good learning environment. This can be done by defining a set of guidelines.
